Time For Michelob Meanderings or Falstaff Forum

Well, in Texas we have an old Aggie Joke about the two Aggies who went into the watermelon business. They would drive from Dallas to Texarkana, buy a pickup load of watermelons for $1.00 each, load them up, drive back to Dallas and sell them at the Farmers Market for $1.00 each. After a month of doing this the taller aggie commented to the shorter aggie: "Hey, we're not making any money". To which the shorter Aggie replied, "Yes, I've noticed, maybe we need to get a bigger truck". And that folks leads me to "W" and his heartwarming speech last evening. Maybe we need more forces in Iraq! To me this is sooooo reminiscent of the shit that was transpriring in the last years of Viet Nam. We have 58,000 names on a wall for that last cause. How many names till we recognize this lost cause for what it is. We cannot fight that kind of war because we are the "Good Guys". To fight and win a war of insurgency we need to look back on the successful barbarians of yesteryear! Ghengis Kahn, Ceasar, Alexander, Sherman, Tojo, Hitler and Po Pot. Why do we think the terms Rape, Pillage and Plunder are associated with war?? War is about killing people and taking what belongs to them and making it your own. There is no room for Good Guys in war. That's why we'll never win this one. Democracy is a concept so alien to most of those people over there. Look at it this way. What if the USA was invaded, the government overthrown and a theocratic Islamic top-down government was installed? All the women would have to start wearing Berkas and all the men would have to grow a beard. Women would not be allowed to vote, drive or have any say in anything. How would that set here? Does the concept sound alien??? Well, then think about the people over there and how the concept of democracy is contrary to everything they were ever taught or learned. They didn't have to earn democracy, they had it imposed on them! Ok, where am I going with this? Here is what I think the American people need to see about our war. We need to see, every night, the graphic display of the blood, guts, burned and mangled bodies that the Arabs get to see on Al Jazera. We need to see it just like the people on the streets in Iraq get to see it every day. We don't. We are protected, by the censor of the Federal Government, as to what war really looks like. War is not a video game! Why do we think people suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Syndrone? Why should our servicemen have to look at it but not us??? When Patton liberated a death camp in Germany, he made all the people in the local town come down and handle all the dead bodies. Guess What! They were appalled. War is about killing enough people until they submit to your new rules. Ask an American Indian. If we are not ready to go kill, rape, pillage and plunder in Iraq until they holler calf rope, we have no business of being there. Older Whiskey...

Amen Brother! And to boot(Canadian pronunciation)--he sends a woman to that area to "negotiate"--give me a break. There is no way "Condi" is making a difference. In fact when Israel attacked Lebanon the Lebanoneese(sp) would not even speak with her.
They say when a manager hires someone he always hires someone inferior to him. Such as if he is an 8 he hires 6 and less. Well we all know where Dictator Georgie is on that scale--how many companies did he run into the ground???? He used fear to get us there for his own agenda. Oh well the government manipulates one more time. Mark my words--they will find a way to pour fear over us again within the next few months--be prepared. I am a believer our government knew 9-11 was coming.
Oh by the way--use paragraphs breaks--makes it easier to read--thanks.

And no I would not vote for Hillary--just because she is a woman. Women don't have the social strength to take on the ragheads--
